REGISTRATION
How do I register for CHEST 2024?
You can register for CHEST 2024 online. You also can learn about attendance options, pricing, add-on sessions, a special membership offer, and group rates on our Registration Information page.
Can I register for virtual attendance?
Virtual attendance is not available for CHEST 2024. Those who register for the live meeting can also purchase an On Demand Pass, which offers access to session slides with audio voice-over after the live event has concluded.
How do I register for a premeeting course?
You can register for premeeting postgraduate courses and Master Classes through the online CHEST 2024 registration process. CHEST 2024 registration is not required in order to register for premeeting courses.
What CHEST 2024 sessions require extra fees?
Simulation, Meet the Professor, and Problem-Based Learning sessions all require additional fees in addition to CHEST 2024 meeting registration. You can sign up for these sessions when registering for CHEST 2024.
How can I cancel my meeting registration?
Requests for cancellation must be made in writing to helpteam@chestnet.org and received by September 6, 2024. A full refund, minus a $250 processing fee, will be issued for cancellation requests received by September 6; no refunds will be given after September 6. If you used Become a Member when you registered, only your course registration can be canceled. No refunds will be given for membership.
I chose the Become a Member option when registering for CHEST 2024, but now I want to cancel my CHEST 2024 registration. Can I also cancel my membership?
Memberships purchased when registering for CHEST 2024 are not refundable.
Is there an app?
The CHEST 2024 mobile app is anticipated to be available this summer.
CME CREDIT/MOC POINTS
What is the maximum amount of CME/MOC available?
The following CME/MOC is available:
- 29.5 credits for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and respiratory therapists
- 21 credits for sleep medicine
How do I claim CME credit, and what is the deadline to claim?
You can claim CHEST 2024 CME/CE credit online beginning Wednesday, October 9, at 12 pm ET. The deadline to claim CME/CE credit for CHEST 2024 is April 8, 2025.
How do I receive MOC points?
You will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credit you claim for the activity. When prompted at claiming, please verify or enter your American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) ID and date of birth. CHEST will submit your points automatically on your behalf. Please allow 3 to 5 business days after claiming for the points to be reflected on your ABIM record.
To prevent delays in receiving MOC points, please make sure that your full name, date of birth, and ABIM number are correct in your CHEST account. (Full name must match exactly as shown in your ABIM account.)
Additionally, please make sure that your ABIM account is current. This can be done by signing in to your ABIM portal or contacting ABIM directly. If you are unsure of your account status or have questions regarding your account, please contact ABIM at 1 (800) 441-ABIM or

POST-EVENT ACCESS
If I purchase an On Demand Pass, how long will I have access to the recordings? Are recordings downloadable?
You will have continued access and all material will be available until October 2025. Recordings are not downloadable.
