This series of webinars on Severe Eosinophilic Asthma (SEA) presents three cases which demonstrate how advancing therapy may improve clinical outcomes, such as exacerbation reduction and reduction in oral corticosteroid use in the appropriate patient.

Course Objectives

  • Recognize the signs, symptoms and presentations of SEA in a patient and understand the burden associated with it
  • Utilize the Eosinophil as a biomarker in phenotyping and endotyping Severe Asthma (SA) patients
  • Identify the SEA patient with common comorbidities
  • Understand the risks associated with both short and long-term use of oral corticosteroids (OCS) in patients with SEA
  • Understand guideline recommendations on when to consider biologic therapies to manage SEA
