Where do you work?
University of Virginia
What are your research interests?
The primary focus of my research is transitional and clinical research of critical illness, especially patients on extracorporeal life support.
What led you to join your Network?
Critical care truly stands out because it offers compassionate support to patients during some of the most vulnerable moments in their lives. It’s a field that deeply values knowledge, kindness, and understanding. Being part of CHEST gives me the wonderful opportunity to connect with colleagues from diverse institutions and countries and share my passion for critical care. These interactions are always inspiring and bring a sense of fulfillment that I cherish.
What achievements are you most proud of contributing to within your Network?
I'm truly grateful to be part of such a welcoming community where we support each other's growth and nurture future leaders. It is a genuine honor to collaborate closely with esteemed colleagues on various publications, infographics, and sessions for CHEST.
How has being in a Network benefited your career and your experience as a CHEST member?
I've had the pleasure of meeting friends and building lasting relationships. It's also been a fantastic place to create research, participate in educational collaborations, and publish with colleagues who share my passions.
What are your hobbies?
Traveling all over the world. It’s an eye-opener for different cultures and experiences.
What is something you cannot live without (after family and friends)?
Staying active and being hopeful for the future.

I am grateful for each one of you.
